Primary Interactive Whiteboards (USB-C docked)

When using the interactive whiteboard it is recommended that you only use 2 screens (the secondary monitor and the interactive whiteboard.)


When connecting your Laptop to the dock follow the steps below


  1. Make sure the computer is either off or in sleep mode. To put the computer to sleep select the start menu, select the power symbol, select sleep and close the monitor.


  1. Plug the USB-C cable into the computer and press the power button on the side of the Laptop (or power button on the dock.) The light on the power button should go solid white. 


  1. Wait 30 to 60 seconds as the Laptop turns on, the external monitor will display and you can sign in to your account.



The computer must be in duplicate mode for touch to work on the interactive whiteboard. You can put the computer into duplicate mode by pressing WINDOWS+P and selecting “Duplicate”




Troubleshooting


Duplicate mode does not mirror to an interactive whiteboard.

If the Lid of the Laptop is shut without putting the computer to sleep the dock may detect the laptop’s display as on. Open the laptop and follow the instructions above.


Wireless mouse stops working.  

If your wireless mouse stops working when connected to the dock remove the power cord from the back of the docking station, wait 10 seconds, and plug it in again.
