Secondary Student Printing (Library Photocopier)


The secondary student photocopier is located in the library.
This photocopier allows students to prints, scan, and photocopy.

Photocopying
To use the photocopier, swipe your card and select use copier (as you copy amount will be deducted from your account.)

Scanning
To scan swipe your card and select "use copier"-"scan and send -"send to myself".  your email address should appear (no charge for this service.) 
 
Printing

School Devices

You can print from both Chromebooks and Windows devices.

Chromebooks print using mobility print, the printer will appear as shown


If you cannot see the printer, select see more... then select the printer



You will be prompted to sign in.  Click sign in with google.  Then select your account.




To print from a windows device simply select the Library student printer, you will need to go to the photocopier to release your print job.

Releasing printing

To release your printing, swipe your card at the copier, select the job you want print (or press print all.)
Your account will be deducted when you select to print (not when you send the job to the copier.)


BYO Devices

To connect a Windows device to the Student library printer.

download the link for the mobility print installer
run the exe and follow the prompts to install the printer

You will be prompted to enter your username and password. (If you change your password you will need to reinstall)



Your printer will appear as Student Library Printer [PPSPRINT](Mobility)


To connect a macOS device

System Preferences - Printers and Scanners  +  search for student library printer (Bonjour)
Set driver to secure AirPrint

When you print you will be prompted to enter your username and password. (you can save this to keychain for easier printing.)

Troubleshooting:

You must be connected to the school network to be able to print.

Pricing

Currently photocopier pricing is set as:

A4
$0.10 colour
$0.01 black and white

A3
$0.20 colour
$0.02 black and white

Each student is allocated $10 a month.  The max amount that can be accumulated is $20.

Replacement of card/lanyard is $20.
